FREEBIE WOO HOO!
Hi Mrs. Genesky,
I have decided to use my freebie this week. My life is LOCO. So yes. I hope you have a great weekend! I recently watched a documentary on a baby elephant and had to share! Below is a picture of my favorite animal on this planet, the elephant. This specific elephants name is Naledi, which means star in the African culture. Naledi is a baby elephant whose mother, Kiti, passed away when she was very young. Naledi was raised by the humans at the preserve that she lives in in Botswana, Africa. Naledi is an adorable, charismatic little elephant and now has a documentary about her on Netflix! It is a must watch. If you don't, you're lame. Naledi is one little elephant but one MIGHTY elephant. I have watched this numerous times and every single time I sob. Elephants are a passion of mine and most definitely the most beautiful creatures on the planet.
Anyways, sorry about the rambling. BUT SERIOUSLY GO WATCH!

Lexie- I loved the connection you made to the concept of translating blurring our personal perception and forming a type of bias, that was a very interesting point. Translations can steer opinion and perspective so much from such a small change. I always love reading your blogs but this one was for sure a top 5! Great job Lexie!
Sean- I loved your blog this week! The use of bullet points was my personal favorite by far. I love me an easy to follow bulleted list. I loved reading your analysis of translation and also your inclusion of personal experience regarding translation. Super interesting blog post!
